Summer in the Algarve is incredible. One of the best things to do is to take advantage of the late sunsets. In June this means it gets dark just after 9pm. One night, after dinner with my daughter, my mate George and I headed out for a local dam near São Brás de Alportel. After 10 minutes drive into the hills we came across an idyllic little lake and launched out into the soft evening.
Nothing beats a paddle as the sun is going down and we took out the drone to record the event. It’s nothing special but the small things in life really count. Don’t they?
