Trusted Resources
Our team has been living and working in Portugal for a collective 60 years and we’ve made some great connections with some solid companies that can help you on your journey to live here.

4 phases of relocation
If you look at relocation from a very simple overview (even though its a highly complicated process) you could come up with four major phases:
- Researching
- Scouting
- Preparing
- Settling
Within each of these phases, we have researched and found some solid companies that can help you. If you need any clarification or just to chat your options through, book a free call with us.
Researching
In the research phase, people generally want to know who to contact when they’re ready to move (in the preparation phase). Many of the resources here will help to determine whether Portugal really is a good fit for you and your family (or for you alone if you’re coming solo).
Currency
Having a good foreign exchange broker or system will save you a ton of money, event when travelling anywhere else. I’m sure you realize that whenever you use your credit card overseas, you’ll get charged an exchange rate (normally higher than the average) and you’ll get charged fees. Have a chat with our brokers and compare the rates you’d get from your bank.
Visas
We work very closely with a lawyer who can help you pick a visa that is suited to your situaton and apply for it on your behalf (naturally you’ll still need to supply her with all the documentation required, but she can hold your hand all the way through the process).
